props for Kenny Williams, White Sox GM

Credit needs to go to the Chicago White Sox GM Kenny Williams for having the guts and brains to trade for Jim Thome. After winning a World Series, he still improved his club. I didn't have a high opinion on Kenny Williams as it seems he regularly got picked off by Billy Beane in trades. The one that comes to mind is the Keith Foulke for Billy Koch. Foulke wasn't the closer when he was with the White Sox, but he turned in a very good year for the A's. Koch was the closer for the A's, but blew up with the White Sox.

But clearly, this guy knows what he is doing! He proved my opinion wrong.
