Do the major sports leagues really oppose gambling?
If so, what the heck is this:

Playing the lottery IS gambling. And it is a HORRIBLE form of gambling because the player has so much negative EV. Some have called it a tax on the poor since they are more likely to play the lottery than the rich. I don't know if I would go that far, but I know when one plays the lottery, they are gambling.
So...how can a professional sports league be against gambling, yet have one of its teams sponser a gambling activity?
